Field Service Technician Job Description

Please do not apply if you fail to meet the following criteria:

Must have a proven safe driving record as well as maintain a valid driver's license.
Must be willing to perform service calls on average 2-3 days per week in Arizona.
Must be able and willing to lift heavy equipment and materials on a routine basis.
Must be able to work with others in our control panel shop 2-3 days per week.

Responsibilities:

Assist in performing installation, testing, repair, and troubleshooting of all industrial-related electrical and electronic equipment utilized in manufacturing plants or distribution systems. This equipment includes, but is not limited to Industrial motor control panels, VFD’s, soft starters, and MCC’s and PLC's.
Arrive on time and prepared to work on a daily basis.
Provide high level customer service.
Maintain high quality work standards.
Be flexible working both in the field and building industrial control panels in our shop.

Skills Needed:

Highly motivated with interpersonal skills to effectively work in a collaborative team environment.
Electrical, instrumentation, controls, technical training, or equivalent education or experience is a plus but not required.
Experience in the water/wastewater or mining industry a plus but not required.
Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures.
Ability to complete required safety training classes and comply with OSHA, MSHA or any authority having jurisdiction.
Must have the ability to complete tasks and assignments in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
Must be prepared to take direction from multiple senior coworkers and be willing to learn and grow your skill set on a daily basis with an eye on a long-term career in the industrial field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-30.00 per hour
