• Accurate recording of baseline vital signs (weight, T, P, R, CRT)
• Ability to restrain dogs and cats
• Nail trims, anal gland expression, ear cleaning,
• In house laboratory (IDEXX/Heska/Abaxis in house laboratory equipment and reading in-house cytology)
• Radiograph positioning
• Setting IV Cath
• Administration of medications via injections (SQ, IM, IV) and PO use
• Anesthetic induction, maintenance and recovery.
• Aseptic surgical techniques
• OR prep
• Dental - intraoral radiographs, scaling, polishing and charting dental anatomy and pathology
• Familiarity with medications used in the veterinary field
• Medical Terminology
• Follow instructions and direction
• Maintain reports, records, logs and filing systems
• Enter data/medical records into a computer system(Avimark)
• Communicate effectively within the team and with a variety of individuals on a day to day basis
• Provide prompt, efficient service for our clients and their pets

Must be able to pass drug test'

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
